Songwriter Entertains at 'Music of the South' Course

Susie Coleman visited Jessica Dunn’s “Music of the South” course on Friday. A long-time friend of Ms. Dunn, Ms. Coleman has been singing and playing rhythm guitar for nearly 50 years and was a full-time musician from 1969 through 1984, playing in clubs in Akron, Ohio, Lexington, Kentucky, Daytona Beach, Florida and Nashville. Currently, she gives guitar lessons, is writing a beginner guitar book of traditional songs taught with her own method, and teaches other various classes at the Fiddle and Pick in Pegram.
